PSV Tech backs spektr in $20M Series A
spektr, the Copenhagen-based company building AI infrastructure for compliance in financial services, has raised $20 million in a Series A round led by NEA, with participation from existing investors including Northzone, Seedcamp, and PSV Tech.
Spektr addresses a longstanding challenge in financial services, where much of the underlying compliance work remains manual. KYC and KYB processes still rely heavily on analysts reviewing documents, mapping ownership structures, and piecing together fragmented information across multiple sources.
spektr approaches this by focusing on the work itself. Its platform uses specialized AI agents to carry out the underlying tasks involved in compliance reviews, including company research, information verification, and risk assessment. This shifts what has traditionally required hours of manual effort into automated processes, allowing teams to focus on decision-making rather than data gathering.
The new funding will be used to further develop the platform and accelerate adoption across financial institutions globally.
