HelloFlow is becoming part of the global online verification service Trulioo.
We first met Mikkel Skarnager and Ciprian Florescu at an Open Door event here at PSV. They might’ve seemed young in both person and product, but they were also bursting with that impressive kind of crazy that we like. It stuck with GP of PSV Tech, Alexander Viterbo-Horten, and he just couldn’t shake it off. The fact that they brought relevant experience, a strong product, and a user experience to die for sealed the deal.
Since we stepped in as the first institutional investor after Susanne Brønnum’s angel investment, it’s like someone lit a fire underneath the team, and they’ve been moving the company forward with the speed of light, proving their incredibly strong execution skills. It might seem easy to say now, but we never doubted that HelloFlow was going to make it big one day. The minute we set foot on this train, we were in for the entire ride – also why we were lead investors on their latest €1,3M Seed round, along with Seedcamp.
HelloFlow has built a remarkable solution that automates compliant onboarding for any company, any size and anywhere. Put simply: they’re crème de la crème of what they do. While we’ve been on board with the brilliant and sometimes crazy minds of Mikkel and Ciprian from the get-go, Trulioo has clearly seen the same potential in this solution as we have. The combination of Trulioo and HelloFlow is bringing together the leading identity verification platform with the best-in-class orchestration solution – seems like the perfect recipe for creating a market leading end-to-end identity platform.
With the aim of becoming the one platform to streamline businesses’ identity lifecycle, the future for Trulioo – and HelloFlow – is already mapped out. A doubling in size within the next year and continued investments in building teams in Denmark and Romania.
Clearly, the journey has only just begun for HelloFlow, and there are big things in store. We’re hugely proud of having been behind the scenes for the first few acts of this story. It’s been a true pleasure to watch it unfold. Now, PSV Tech will be cheering for HelloFlow from the sidelines, and continue to do what we do best: support even more founders grow the potential of their business.
